Exploring the connections between local food systems and community health/well-being
Connections between local food systems and overall health and well-being of communities will be explored, particularly considering community health is a vital component of overall community well-being. We seek to explore from a community development perspective, in terms of how local food systems (accessibility, for example), influence health and well-being outcomes.

Should Native Equity Matter in the Revitalization of Major Cities?
Unlike social and economic equity, native equity is not considered in community development projects. Native equity is when the professional team that is designing or planning the development is inclusive of native residents from the targeted area. The question for community development practitioners is does native equity matter in redevelopment.

Digital inclusion is vital to promoting community growth. Often, though, the information needed to identify gaps is lacking at a local level, and the benefits of improving digital literacy are difficult to define, let alone measure. Community Development as Resiliency Strategy: A Deep Dive into the Social Aspects of Community Resiliency
In this roundtable, we aim to increase understanding of known social dimensions of community resiliency and identify research questions we could collaboratively address, through transformative university-community partnerships, to strengthen community resiliency. Research from Rust to Green’s Living with Water initiative will be used to set the stage for this discussion.
